Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray said We had never closed the doors for discussion, BJP lied to us so we did not talk to them. We have not yet held talks with the NCP. Uddhav Thackeray also said I had promised Balasaheb that there will be a Shiv Sena Chief Minister one day, and I will fulfill that promise, I don't need Amit Shah and Devendra Fadnavis for that.

महाराष्ट्र की राजनीति में बीजेपी और शिवसेना के बीच उठापटक का दौर जारी है। विधानसभा का कार्यकाल खत्म होने से एक दिन पहले देवेंद्र फडणवीस ने शुक्रवार को सीएम पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया। इस दौरान देवेंद्र फडणवीस ने कहा कि शिवसेना के साथ ढाई-ढाई साल के लिए मुख्यमंत्री पद पर कोई बातचीत नहीं हुई थी। देवेंद्र फडणवीस के बयान पर शिवसेना प्रमुख उद्धव ठाकरे ने पलटवार किया और कहा कि शिवसेना झूठ बोलने वालों की पार्टी नहीं है और जनता को पता है कि झूठ कौन बोल रहा। उद्धव ठाकरे ने ये भी कहा कि अब वक्त है कि बीजेपी सच बोले। एक तरफ शिवसेना 50-50 फॉर्मूले के तहत सीएम पद पर अड़ी है, दूसरी ओर बीजेपी सीएम पद शिवसेना से बांटना नहीं चाहती है।
