Sachin Tendulkar Suggests Changes To ODI Format || Oneindia Telugu

Sachin Tendulkar has suggested changes to One-Day International cricket, reiterating his opinion that the 50 overs per team be split into two innings of 25 overs each.The Indian batting legend believes the tweak will neutralise the toss advantage and give both teams the challenge of dealing with dew in day-night matches. Such a change, he believes, will also engage the spectators more as the teams think on their feet to gain the upper hand.

టీ20లు వచ్చినప్పటినుండి ఇప్పటికే టెస్టులకు ఆదరణ కరువైంది. ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్తంగా ఐపీఎల్‌ లాంటి ఎన్నో లీగ్‌లు పుట్టుకురావడంతో ఐదు రోజుల పాటు జరిగే టెస్టులకు అభిమానులు కరువయ్యారు. ఇది చాలదన్నట్టు టీ10 లీగ్‌ కూడా ప్రారంభమయింది. దీంతో టెస్టులతో పాటు వన్డేలు కూడా ప్రమాదంలో పడే అవకాశాలు ఎక్కువగా ఉన్నాయి. అయితే టెస్ట్ క్రికెట్‌ను పునరుద్ధరించే ప్రయత్నంలో ఐసీసీ టెస్ట్ ఛాంపియన్‌షిప్‌ను ప్రవేశపెట్టినప్పటికీ.. వన్డేలకు మాత్రం ప్రత్యామ్యాయం ఇంకా చూడలేదు.వన్డేలను కూడా జనరంజకంగా మార్చేందుకు టీమిండియా దిగ్గజం సచిన్‌ టెండూల్కర్‌ ఓ సరికొత్త ప్రతిపాదనతో ముందుకువచ్చాడు. ఒక వన్డే.. 4 ఇన్నింగ్స్‌లు (25 ఓవర్లకు ఓ ఇన్నింగ్స్).. ఇదే సచిన్‌ సరికొత్త ప్రతిపాదన. 2009లోనే సచిన్ ఈ ఆలోచన వెల్లడించగా.. ఐసీసీ కూడా చర్చలు జరిపింది. కానీ.. అమలు చేయడానికి మాత్రం ధైర్యం చేయలేదు. అయితే వన్డేలకు కూడా అభిమానుల నుంచి రోజురోజుకూ ఆదరణ తగ్గుతుండడంతో ఇప్పుడు సచిన్‌ మరోసారి గుర్తుచేశాడు.
