South Dinajpur (West Bengal): West Bengal government brought back almost 138 labourers, who were working in Jammu and Kashmir. The state government took the step after 5 labourers were killed by terrorists in Kulgam on Oct 29.

Meanwhile, labourers are claiming that there is no work in West Bengal for them. One of the labourers said, “There is no work here. If the government provides us something, we'll stay, else we'll have to return to Kashmir to feed ourselves.”
