South Korean soprano, Jo Su-mi has been appointed as an honorary ambassador for the city of Seoul.
She was appointed after appearing in the city's global promotional video earlier this year.
Jo said she's happy to represent Seoul, the city where she grew up.
She added that although she does a lot of activities outside of the country, she had always wanted to do something for her hometown.
The global promotional video that Jo stars in will be used at Seoul's major events and on the city's official foreign language homepage.
