‘Forbes’ recently released a list of the
top-earning dead celebrities of 2019.
The list features 13 well-known
celebrities who have continued to
earn money even in their passing. .
Nipsey Hussle, who was murdered in March of
2019, is the most recently deceased name on the list.
He came in at no. 10, with $11 million earned
in 2019 from 1.85 billion streams of his music.
Hussle is just $1 million shy of Prince’s $12 million
earnings, which were earned through 320,000 physical
unit sales and 500 million on-demand streams. .
He is however in the top three most-streamed of
anyone, living or dead, having brought in more money
posthumously this year than any year he was alive. .
XXXTentacion is also on the list at the no. 11 spot,
with $10 million earned from his status as the
most-streamed dead celebrity in the United States. .
Michael Jackson, who pulled in $60 million in 2019,
is at the top of the list for the seventh consecutive year.
