In a scene right out of the movies, two groups clashed over a land dispute in Ballari. One group chased the other on the streets of Gundlahalli in Sandur, hurling abuses all through the way.
The families of Gavi Sidappa and Krishna Murthy have been fighting over a piece of land for several years now. With the issue not being settled in court, the fight spilled on to the streets. The men were beaten up and vehicles were vandalized in the attack. 15 people have been injured in the attack. Complaints have been filed by both groups alleging a threat to life.
