Everyday there are lakhs of cases that are heard in Indian courts- across levels. Each of these cases have hundreds of documents that are printed on thousands of sheets of paper that are simply discarded after a single use.The Quint did the math- and we found that the number of paper used by the Indian judiciary in a year is approximately 11 BILLION SHEETS!
