No majority for 12th December general election

Boris Johnson has lost his bid for a general election on 12th December having secured 299 votes out of 434 needed. The Prime Minister is to try again later today after publishing a short piece of legislation seeking the support of the Lib Dems and SNP for an election on that date. Report by Czubalam.
