The Yogi government, which was under pressure due to the Supreme Court's order to pay home guards a salary equivalent to the police constable, terminated the service of 25,000 home guards posted in the Uttar Pradesh Police Department.

उत्तर प्रदेश की योगी सरकार ने 25000 होमगार्डों को बर्खास्त करने का फैसला वापस ले लिया है। गृह विभाग ने गुरुवार को आदेश जारी करके होमगार्डों की सेवाओं को बहाल कर दिया है। अगले आदेश तक होमार्ड्स की सेवाएं जारी रहेंगी। इस फैसले के बाद होमगार्ड्स में खुशी की लहर दौड़ गई है। सभी ने योगी सरकार का धन्यवाद किया है। बता दें कि होमगार्डो को भी पुलिस कांस्टेबल के बराबर वेतन देने के सुप्रीम कोर्ट के आदेश की वजह से दबाव झेल रही योगी सरकार ने उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस विभाग में तैनात 25,000 होमगार्डो की सेवा समाप्त कर दी थी।
