Now on updates on the grim discovery in the UK,...39 people found dead this week in a refrigerated trailer in Essex have been identified as Chinese nationals.
Essex Police also confirmed on Thursday that the eight of the deceased are women and 31 are men.
Reports suggest the victims froze to death in temperatures of minus 25 degrees Celsius.
Police have been granted an extra 24 hours to question lorry driver Mo Robinson on suspicion of murder.
