S. Korea, Spain to expand cooperation in construction, digital economy, renewable energy

President Moon Jae-in has proposed that South Korea and Spain enhance cooperation in overseas construction, digital economy and renewable energy.
The President made the comments at a bilateral business forum in Seoul with King Filipe the Sixth of Spain this morning.
President Moon highlighted the immense potential the two countries have in joint construction projects overseas,... with Korea's strength in construction and financing,... and Spain in the design and management of facilities.
"The two countries have agreed to push for joint advancement in overseas construction to South and Central America and Asia and expand cooperation between public enterprises in railways, airlines and transportation.
President Moon also said the two countries will have great synergy in the digital economy.
He said they both have outstanding ICT infrastructure and can mutually prosper through partnerships in 5G-based services like autonomous cars and smart cities.
They will also work together in battling climate change,... by working to replace fossil fuels with renewable energy.
