left-arm spinner Shahbaz Nadeem on Monday said he was nervous for exactly three balls in his maiden Test appearance against South Africa and his wealth of experience in first class cricket prepared him for international challenge on short notice.Nadeem was drafted into the squad for the third Test after Kuldeep Yadav suffered a shoulder injury.The 30-year-old took two wickets on his debut at his home ground, sending back Temba Bavuma and Anrich Nortze during South Africa's first innings which folded for 162 on Monday.

बाएं हाथ के स्पिनर शाहबाज नदीम ने सोमवार को कहा कि दक्षिण अफ्रीका के खिलाफ डेब्यू टेस्ट की सिर्फ पहली तीन गेंदों तक ही वह नर्वस थे। इसके बाद वह सहज हो गए। हालांकि नदीम ने माना कि उन्हें बेहतर नतीजों के लिए अपने गेंदबाजी ऐक्शन में सुधार करना होगा। अपने घरेलू मैदान पर पहला मैच खेलते हुए 30 बरस के नदीम ने 2 विकेट लिए।दक्षिण अफ्रीका की टीम पहली पारी में 162 रन पर आउट हो गई। नदीम ने कहा, 'मैं रोमांचित था और भावुक भी लेकिन मैंने अपने प्रदर्शन पर फोकस किया। मैं पहली तीन गेंद तक नर्वस रहा खासकर रन अप के दौरान। चौथी गेंद से मैं सहज हो गया।'
