Korea, China to set up additional hotline between air forces, navies

High-level defense talks were held between South Korea and China.
According to the nation's defense ministry the two sides agreed to set up additional hotlines between the two sides' air force and navy. They also plan to strengthen bilateral exchanges through frequent personnel visits.
The fifth bilateral vice ministerial strategic defense dialogue... was held for the first time in five years.
The annual dialogue was suspended in 2015 due to estranged military ties following Beijing's complaint over Seoul's deployment of the U.S. anti-missile system named THAAD.
