Along with studies, the Indian Institute of Technology will now focus on the overall development of the students, so that no multinational company can reject them on the basis of discipline, way of talking, language during placement. For this, students will be trained from BTech third year itself. Not just the placement, their personality grooming will be done even before the internship.

भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान पढ़ाई के साथ-साथ अब छात्रों के समग्र विकास पर भी ध्यान देगा, ताकि प्लेसमेंट के दौरान कोई भी मल्टीनेशनल कंपनी उन्हें अनुशासन, बात करने का तरीका, भाषा जैसे आधार पर रिजेक्ट न कर सकें। इसके लिए बीटेक थर्ड ईयर से ही छात्रों को ट्रेनिंग दी जाएगी। प्लेसमेंट ही नहीं, इंटर्नशिप के पहले भी उनकी पर्सनैलिटी ग्रूमिंग की जाएगी। छात्रों को भारतीय संस्कृति, भाषा, कपड़े पहनने से लेकर पार्टी और बिजनेस मीटिंग के नियमों से रूबरू करवाया जाएगा। ये आईआईटी की नई प्लेसमेंट पॉलिसी का एक अहम हिस्सा होगा।
