Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon met with Lotte Group Chairman Shin Dong-bin.
A closed-door dinner, that lasted nearly two hours, was set to exchange views on the current Seoul-Tokyo relations.
The session was held as the PM will attend the Japanese emperor's enthronement ceremony,... and sit down for talks with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
Chairman Shin is known for his extensive network of Japanese business leaders and political figures as Lotte was founded in Japan in 1948 before growing into one of South Korea's top conglomerates.
