Maharashtra Assembly Elections: Congress rebel Dilip Mane came to the ground to defeat Praniti Shinde. Praniti Shinde, daughter of senior Congress leader Sushil Shinde is contesting elections form Solapur city central seat ticket by Congress. She is also the current MLA from here. Dileep Mane is the candidate from Shiv Sena against Praniti. Praniti's father Sushil Kumar was once the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. In addition, he has also held important responsibilities in the central government.
