A primary school in northern China's Baoji installed the bars over the desks to help correct the pupils' posture when handwriting.
In the video, captured on October 14, the bars installed above the desks can be seen preventing the students from putting their heads too near to the desk when they are handwriting.
According to reports, the pupils' parents agreed and paid the teacher to buy and install the bars for all the students in the class to help correct their sitting posture and protect their eyesight.
