This is the amusing moment a playful dog keeps jumping at her owner to stop her from going to work.

CCTV footage captured on October 8 shows Sararat Prayongyam, who had an important meeting to attend, walking out of her house when the pooch, a Labrador named Charcoal, bounded over to her and demanded to play.

Sararat tried to walk out several times but the two-year-old dog kept running in front of her and jumping up - holding her hostage outside her home.

Sararat said that she was desperate to know how to communicate with her dog, so she could explain to him when she is in a hurry.

She said: "Sometimes I really need to leave the house quickly, without any dog hairs on my clothes, but he is too playful and wants me to pet him all the time.

"I want to know how to let him know that sometimes I cannot play with him, without being mean to him."
