LAHORE, PAKISTAN — An electrician in Pakistan found himself on the receiving end of some very sharp claws after demanding fair pay.

The Khaleej Times reports that electrician Mohammad Rafique had been hired to do work on a congregation hall in Lahore. When Rafique finished and asked to be paid, caretaker Ali Raza told him to come back later.

He did, but the caretaker kept delaying the payment. When the electrician persisted in his demand for wages, Raza got annoyed and decided to sic his pet lion on the poor man, who ended up with wounds on his face and arm.

Some folks passing by happened to hear Rafique's screams for help, and somehow managed to rescue him from the beast.

The electrician didn't file a complaint immediately after because Raza promised to provide treatment for the injuries he got from the lion mauling.

But when the caretaker made like the first time and refused to fork over the money, he lodged the complaint.

Raza the caretaker is now facing a case of attempted murder, which isn't a problem he can fix by unleashing a lion.
