After filing for bankruptcy last month, the cash-strapped teen-fashion retailer Forever 21 is restructuring by moving into ecommerce and laying off hundreds of workers
A company representative says Forever 21 will cease its entire distribution operation and its ecommerce operation will be moved out of LA.
The 1,170 employees to be fired account for 18 percent of the company's full-time workers.
The American fashion retailer plans to close around 350 stores around the world.
