The program of MP Hema Malini was organized in Mathura. He was to inaugurate the overbridge near Mandi intersection on the highway. Before the arrival of Hema Malini, BJP workers became angry and beaten a tempo driver at the venue of the Mandi square. Seeing them doing this, some business leaders standing there protested, then BJP workers called some of their other workers on the spot. After that there was a fierce battle between the two sides.

मथुरा में सांसद हेमा मालिनी का कार्यक्रम आयोजित था. उन्हें हाइवे पर मंडी चौराहे के पास ओवरब्रिज का का उद्घाटन करना था. हेमा मालिनी के आने से पहले बीजेपी कार्यकर्ता उग्र हो गए और उन्होंने मंडी चौराहा स्थित कार्यक्रम स्थल पर एक टेंपो चालक को पीट दिया. उन्हें ऐसा करते देख वहां खड़े कुछ व्यापारी नेताओं ने विरोध किया तो बीजेपी कार्यकर्ताओं ने अपने कुछ और कार्यकर्ताओं को मौके पर बुला लिया. उसके बाद दोनों पक्षों के बीच जमकर कहासुनी हुई.
