Indonesian refugees return home after deadly Wamena riots

Indonesian refugees return to their hometowns in Padang after the Wamena riots left 33 people dead.

Of the thousands of refugees from the Wamena riot, 601 of them returned to their hometown in West Sumatra Province.

Putri landed, 30, at Minangkabau International Airport, on Thursday night (October 10) after flying from Sentani Papua and transiting in Jakarta.

SHe was only able to return home because she had to undergo serious treatment in Papua.
