Ed Sheeran and Prince Harry Team
up for National Mental Health Day.
Ed Sheeran and Prince Harry recently released a joint
video on the official Sussex Royal Instagram account. .
The duo previously teased the collaboration on Oct. 9, when
the account posted a clip of Sheeran arriving at Harry’s house. .
Sheeran jokingly opens the video by acting as if he believes
their shared ginger hair is the issue being addressed. .
I’ve been trying to write a song about this to
get it out to more people … People just don’t
understand what it’s like for people like us —
with the jokes and the snide comments. I just
feel like it’s time we stood up and said, ‘We
are ginger, and we are going to fight.’, Ed Sheeran, via Instagram.
Harry then jumps in to correct him,
which prompts Sheeran to delete his
“Gingers Unite” document title. .
Um, okay. This is slightly awkward. There may
have been a miscommunication — this is about
World Mental Health Day?, Prince Harry, via Instagram.
From there the video gets more
serious, with Harry urging people to
“reach out” to those around them. .
Reach out, make sure your friends, strangers,
look out for anybody that might be suffering
in silence. We’re all in this together, Prince Harry, via Instagram
