Song Description: The contemporary Bisdak song “Balay ni Mayang,” the third place winner of the 2014 Visayan Pop Music Festival, was a massive hit in the Visayas and Mindanao. It also got plenty of airtime in Manila—a popular track among Cebuanos everywhere. Because of its resonant good vibes and folksy feel, the producers of The Art of Ligaw decided to pick it up for the movie’s original soundtrack. Written by award-winning composers Kyle Wong and Marianne Dungog, this massive hit from 6 years ago is being reprised by KZ Tandingan and Epy Quizon, with KZ Tandingan translating parts of the song from Visayan to Tagalog which was then performed by Epy Quizon.
