Simone Biles Becomes the Most
Decorated Female Gymnast Ever On Oct. 8, Simone Biles competed
at the 2019 Gymnastics World
Championships in Germany
and won her 21st medal. At age 22, Biles is officially the most
decorated female gymnast of all time. Simone Biles, via
‘The New York Times’ Biles was previously tied with Russian
gymnast Svetlana Khorkina for the record of
most overall medals at the world championships. She is now only two medals short of male gymnast
Vitaly Scherbo, who holds the record for both
men and women at the world championships. Biles is scheduled to appear
in the All-Around Final on Oct. 10,
which features the top 24 gymnasts.
