National Basketball Association posters are being removed from around Shanghai on Tuesday (October 8) after China stopped NBA broadcasts over Hong kong tweet backlash.

Daryl Morey, Houston Rockets' manager, tweeted "fight for freedom, stand with Hong Kong" on October 4 to show his support for the anti-government protests in the country.

After that, the Chinese government, the Chinese Basketball Association and various Chinese businesses severed ties with the Houston Rockets.
