This fascinating showing a stray myna bird being hand fed by a street vendor in north Thailand, and trusting the human enough that it can sit on his shoulder and get tidbits from his stall.

The vendor works near the bus stand of Chiangkham town in Phayao province, selling barbecue meat including various kinds of sausages and cold drinks, as seen in this video from September 13.

Khun Saam, a man who frequents Chiangkham said the birds were very comfortable around the vendor. "He is a kind man who feeds morsels of food to strays, including birds. This particular bird isn't afraid of him at all. So we see it climbing on to his shoulders and eat directly from his hand."
