Citizens are seen in Bogotá, Colombia protesting against their former President, Alvaro Uribe.

Colombia's powerful and former President appeared before the country's Supreme Court on Tuesday (October 8) where protesters chanted against him.

"Uribe, you racist", the crowd chanted in Spanish.

He appeared in court for allegations against him. Witnesses say he had ties to the paramilitaries. The paramilitaries are accused of drug trafficking and killing innocents.
