The Glenlivet, a Scotland based distillery,
recently announced the limited release
of consumable alcohol capsules.
The Capsule Collection features three different
cocktail mixtures made with Founders Reserver.
The cocktail is suspended
within a biodegradable seaweed
package designed by Notpla.
The Glenlivet has released an original whiskey
drinking experience … A collection of edible
cocktail capsules made from seaweed, meaning
no need for a glass, ice, or a cocktail stirrer, The Glenlivet, via promotional video.
The new product has brought on mixed
reactions, as many are comparing it to the
notorious “Tide Pod Challenge” of 2018.
According to Miriam Eceolaza, director of The
Glenlivet, the Capsule Collection was created
to further the brand’s “pioneering spirit.”.
