S. Korea, Russia pushing to set up air force hotline: JCS

South Korea and Russia are pushing to set up a military hotline between their air forces to prevent accidental entry into each other's air defense identification zones.
In its report to the parliamentary audit held on Tuesday, South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said the two countries have scheduled a joint defense committee meeting for October 22nd... to discuss the signing of a memorandum of understanding on creating the hotline.
The Joint Chiefs also said it's considering a hotline between the air forces of South Korea and China.
Chinese aircraft have entered Korea's air defense identification zone 25 times this year... while Russian planes have entered it 13 times.
