A North Korean fishing boat collided on Monday with a Japanese patrol ship in the East Sea.
According to NHK,... all 60 people on board were rescued, after the collision happened at around 9:10 A.M. local time.
Japanese authorities say the North Koreans were fishing illegally in what Tokyo claims as its exclusive economic zone,... and the accident happened as maritime police were chasing the boat away.
The rescued crew members were taken to another North Korean ship that was near the collision site.
