Chilly Hanlu morning, sunnier skies

Good morning, I hope you slept well, we really needed warmer blankets as it was pretty chilly over night. Today is Hanlu(Han-ro) literally translated as Cold Dew, marking the arrival of cooler temperatures, according to seasonal indicators. Though afternoon highs will rise fast and hike slightly higher than yesterday, which is Hangeul Day in Korea.

Upper regions could see sporadic rain in the morning, most regions are waking up to the coldest morning of the season. Morning lows are ranging between 11 and 18 degrees Celsius.

Highs will be a couple notches higher than yesterday, Seoul getting up to 19 degrees, Chuncheon at 21.

Typhoon Hagibis has gained strength into a super typhoon and could pose a danger to Japan over the weekend with dangerous winds. For now, it is forecast to hit the island of Kyushu this weekend bringing extreme winds and heavy rain
