FAWAD COULD NOT DO FILM WITH SONAM BECAUSE OF ‘DATE ISSUES’

So, of late we’ve been seeing a lot of Fawad Khan and like, no one is complaining.
After he bagged awards for his Bollywood debut Khoobsurat, he’s become an industry favourite. He’s got a starring role in Karan Johar’s Kapoor & Sons and might even be seen in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
And we’d have loved to see him with Sonam Kapoor once again in the film adaptation of the book Battle for Bittora. However, he had to drop out of the project.
Speculation was rife that Fawad was uncomfortable with the intimate scenes that were part of the Battle for Bittora script. Then there were rumours that he was afraid that Sonam will overshadow him.
But only Fawad knows the real reason and he spilled the beans.
Oh, of course ‘the date issue’. That’s the most tried and tired excuse in the book. Try harder next time, Fawad.
