Ahead of assembly elections in Haryana, Former Haryana Congress chief Ashok Tanwar resigned from prime membership of the party. This is the setback for the Congress ahead of assembly election in the state. Ashok Tanwar said After long deliberations with party workers and for reasons well known to all Congressman and public, I hereby resign from the primary membership of the Congress.

हरियाणा में विधानसभा चुनाव से पहले कांग्रेस को तगड़ा झटका लगा है। हरियाणा कांग्रेस के पूर्व अध्यक्ष और पार्टी के कद्दावर नेता अशोक तंवर ने आखिरकार कांग्रेस छोड़ दी है। टिकट बंटवारे को लेकर नाराज़ चल रहे अशोक तंवर ने शनिवार को इस्तीफा दे दिया। अशोक तंवर ने टिकटों की खरीद-बिक्री का भी आरोप लगाया है। अशोक तंवर पार्टी में अपनी अनदेखी के चलते कई बार अपनी नाराजगी जाहिर कर चुके थे। और आखिकार उन्होंने कांग्रेस से इस्तीफा दे दिया।
