Cox & Kings Shutdown: Customers Bear the Brunt as Travel Agency Faces Crisis

About 1,000 people who had booked tour packages with travel company Cox and Kings were left in the lurch as the company shutdown its Russel Street office in Kolkata amid a crisis. The customers had booked packages worth lakhs each for holidays abroad, only to know they have been cancelled last moment. People got to know on 30 September, when they were scheduled to travel within a week.
