Brave swimmers have been spotted taking a dip in the sea off Galway as Storm Lorenzo hits Ireland.

Filmed on October 3, a topless man can be seen walking down a flight of stairs into the rough sea caused by storm winds.

Storm Lorenzo has left over 4,000 homes and businesses without power on Friday (October 4) as powerful winds continue to batter Ireland.
