Fully electric Volvo XC40

Sometimes less is really more: Volvo's first all-electric model, the Volvo XC40 Electric Drive (BEV), proves that the Swedish premium brand's vehicles can be made even better by omitting certain things.

The rise of electric cars is the biggest change in the history of the automobile. For the first time in over a century, vehicles move without a gasoline or diesel engine working in the engine compartment; instead there is a battery in the vehicle floor. This essentially changes the car. Also for tailpipes or a large radiator grille, there is no need. And because the internal combustion engine is eliminated, additional storage space is created under the front hood.
