Pune: Onions Too Costly, Thieves Flee With 2,600kg Produce. Due to skyrocketing prices, onion has become like a treasure for thieves. Onion has become so expensive that thieves are now thinking better to clean hands than to steal fancy things. People in Pune are doing night patrolling for onion protection. In two separate incidents in Pune district of Maharashtra, thieves cleared their hands on 2600 kg of onion, which has been valued at Rs 35,000.

आसमान छूती कीमत की वजह से प्याज अब चोरों के लिए किसी खजाने के जैसी हो गई है। प्याज इतना महंगा हो गया है कि चोर अब फैंसी चीजों की चुराने के बजाय इसी पर हाथ साफ करना बेहतर समझ रहे हैं। पुणे में लोग प्याज की सुरक्षा के लिए नाइट पेट्रोलिंग तक कर रहे हैं। महाराष्ट्र के पुणे जिलें में दो अलग-अलग घटनाओं में चोरों ने 2600 किलोग्राम प्याज पर हाथ साफ कर दिया, जिसकी कीमत 35 हजार रुपये आंकी गई है।
