Pakistan was cut off from India with independence. Kashmir also wanted to live on its own. But, there was someone who was worried about Kashmir, and it was Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation. Seeing the conditions of Kashmir, he set the mood for Kashmir tour right before independence. During the first and last visit to Kashmir, Bapu won the hearts of the people there.
