Westminster wig out: UK judiciary mark start of new legal year with special service at Abbey
  • 5 years ago
The annual Judges Service took place at Westminster Abbey in London today (October 1).

"Judges, QCs and senior legal figures leave Westminster Abbey for the Houses of Parliament after attending the annual service to mark the start of the legal year," writes filmer Dinendra Haria. "The start of the new legal year is marked with a traditional religious service in Westminster Abbey followed by a procession to the Houses of Parliament, where the Lord Chancellor hosts a reception."
