Grammy-Nominated Songwriter Busbee Dead at 43 According to 'Variety,' a friend had said
the producer was recently diagnosed
with brain cancer. News of his death was
revealed on September 29. Many musicians have since paid tribute to Busbee, real name Michael James Ryan. Adam Lambert, via Twitter The songwriter was also honored at a
Jonas Brothers concert this past weekend. Busbee is known for co-writing
Pink's hit song "Try" and his work on
Maren Morris's 2016 album 'Hero.' He also co-wrote Morris's "My Church," which received a Grammy nomination for
