President Moon Jae-in will chair the inaugural meeting of the 19th National Unification Advisory Council this afternoon at the presidential Blue House.
The National Unification Advisory Council is a constitutional organization established to advise the President of South Korea on the formulation of a peaceful unification policy.
President Moon and the presidential council members are expected to discuss President Moon's summit talks in New York last week with U.S. President Donald Trump.
They will also share their views on the future of North Korea-U.S. talks and future prospects for the peace process.
