Protests continue in Hong Kong, where activists are marking the five-year annivesary of the Umbrella Movement,... the city's first homegrown pro-democracy movement.
Tens of thousands of locals took to the streets on Saturday,... clashing with police as they called for freedom and democracy.
This was the 17th week of protests this year,... which started in opposition to a now-abandoned bill that would have allowed criminals to be sent to the Chinese mainland.
The Umbrella Movement, back in 2014, was sparked after Beijing laid out a restrictive election framework for Hong Kong's chief executive... under which China would vet candidates ahead of popular votes.
