London motorcyclist smashes into pedestrian crossing road between moving traffic

This was the moment a pedestrian was struck as she crossed the road between moving traffic in south London on September 23.
GoPro footage caught the moment the woman dashed into the road in between traffic oblivious to the oncoming motorbike on Norwood Road, near Brockwell Park.
The filmer explained: "As I was turning right to go under a bridge the car in front of me honked at a pedestrian who I did not see due to the car blocking me from seeing the pedestrian.
"As the car cleared her path she continued to walk out while on her phone and did not look.
"When she realised I was coming towards her she started to run rather than stop.
"By the time I had spotted her I could only try to avoid the collision.
"Visibility was poor due to it raining.
"Breaking at that moment of time would have caused me to slip my wheels out and cause me to go down."
