S. Korea, Bulgaria agree to boost bilateral ties in nuclear energy, ICT

President Moon Jae-in held a summit today with the prime minister of Bulgaria,... Boyko Borissov.
They agreed to boost their bilateral partnerships in the fields of nuclear energy and ICT.
"Our two countries have the potential to greatly boost practical cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, energy and arms production. I hope we can realize that potential together."
President Moon noted that Bulgaria wants to introduce nuclear reactors and upgrade its weapons systems, saying South Korea, with its expertise, would be the "optimal" partner.
Prime Minister Borissov reaffirmed his support for the peace process on the Korean Peninsula.
