Kanye’s Album ‘Jesus Is King’
Faces Possible Delay A source close to Kanye has revealed to ‘Variety’
that his expected album, ‘Jesus Is King,’
will not be released on Sept. 27. According to ‘Hits Daily Double,’ the decision was reportedly
made after executives from Def Jam Recording traveled to
Wyoming and had a “Come to Yeezus” meeting with Kanye. It is unclear what that means, but it would not be unlike
Kanye to push the album back, as he similarly delayed the
release of a yet-to-be-seen album called ‘Yandhi’ in 2018. However, Kim Kardashian’s latest
actions on Twitter seem to suggest
that the album is still on track. Since posting a setlist of her husband’s album
in late August, Kardashian has been
counting down to the album’s release on Twitter. On Sept. 25, she did just this, retweeting
a tweet that said “2 more days Jesus Is King.” Kanye has yet to officially comment on the situation.
