Trump says U.S.-China trade deal could happen sooner than expected

President Trump claims his administration might reach a trade deal with China sooner than expected.
Speaking to reporters in New York on Wednesday after signing a trade deal with Japan, Trump said Beijing very badly wants a deal, and that its already making big agricultural purchases from the U.S., including beef and pork.
U.S. stocks ended higher on Wednesday, after falling for three days, with Trump's comments on the U.S.-China trade deal offsetting concerns about a congressional impeachment inquiry against him, as well as weakening global economic data.
