Seoul's FM Kang meets Chinese counterpart in New York for talks on N. Korea cooperation

On the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York on Wednesday,... South Korea's foreign minister Kang Kyung-wha sat down with her Chinese counterpart Wang Yi.
They discussed denuclearizing the Korean Peninsula and continuing their work together so another round of North Korea-U.S. talks happens as soon as possible.
An official at Seoul's foreign ministry says... Wang shared the results of his visit earlier this month to Pyeongyang.
The two sides also agreed to bolster their bilateral ties,... including more economic cooperation.
They also exchanged views on the U.S. anti-missile system THAAD deployed in South Korea.
