'My family is grateful to Sonia Gandhi for extending her support to my father': Karti Chidambaram

While speaking to media after meeting his father P Chidambaram on September 23 at Delhi’s Tihar Jail, Karti Chidambaram said, “My father and my family are extremely grateful to Congress president Sonia Gandhi and former prime minister Manmohan Singh for visiting him today and for extending their support.” “It is a big boost for us in this political fight,” Karti added. P Chidambaram is facing probe by both the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Enforcement Directorate (ED). His cases are pertaining to alleged irregularities in the Foreign Investment Promotion Board clearance given to INX Media in 2007.
