अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी (Atal Bihari Vajpayee) सरकार में गृह राज्य मंत्री रहे स्वामी चिन्मयानंद को छात्रा से यौन शोषण के मामले में गिरफ्तार किया गया है। एसआइटी ने शुक्रवार को चिन्मयानंद को बड़ी संख्या में पुलिस बल के साथ उनके आश्रम में घेरा। पीड़ित छात्रा का सोमवार को 164 के तहत कलमबंद बयान दर्ज करवाया गया था। उसके बाद से ही पीड़िता स्वामी चिन्मयानंद के खिलाफ यौन शोषण केस दर्ज करने और उनकी गिरफ्तारी की मांग कर रही थी।
